What we collect and why

We keep data collection to a minimum.

• Contact form: when you submit the form, we process the name, email address and message you provide, solely to read and reply to your enquiry. The submission is handled by our form provider Web3Forms and delivered to info@stykslabs.com.
• Preferences: we store your chosen language and light or dark theme in your own browser so the site remembers your choice on your next visit.

Cookies and local storage

Functional storage is always active and keeps the site working. Analytics cookies are used only after you accept them in our consent banner; until then, and if you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage for this site.

• A language cookie that remembers your language preference (functional).
• A theme setting kept in your browser local storage (functional, not a cookie).
• A consent setting kept in your browser local storage that records your cookie choice.
• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (for example _ga), only after you accept. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics stays off by default until you consent.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Contact-form submissions are processed on our behalf by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), purely to deliver your message to us. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Limited processes usage data through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to help us understand how the site is used.

Retention

We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to handle your request and our follow-up, then delete them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any right, email info@stykslabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
